These cheeseburger dumplings are the perfect unification of 2 epic foods.

The cheese gives the dumpling filling a unique texture, and the burger sauce packs a flavourful punch.

Once again, we used our own homemade dumpling dough, so we were able to get the skin nice and thin.

Ingredients

  • 250g beef mince
  • 2 rashers of bacon
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1/2 brown onion
  • 3 tbsp burger sauce
  • BBQ/burger sauce (optional, to serve)
  • 1 portion of dumpling dough (approximately 20-24 dumpling wrappers)

Method

  1. Dice bacon into small pieces and panfry until crispy. Set it aside
  2. Dice onions
  3. Combine the beef mince, bacon, onion, cheese, and burger sauce. Optionally season with garlic powder, salt and pepper
  4. Fold the dumplings
  5. Cook the dumplings. We chose to panfry them
