Picture it, a perfectly tangy and earthy pasta sauce that is deliciously creamy but doesn't leave you feeling heavy and groggy afterwards.

When you think of how to make a creamy pasta sauce, you're probably thinking of a classic carbonara, which is made with parmesan cheese and egg yolks, or an alfredo sauce, which uses heavy cream. However, there aren't many classic creamy sauces that use yoghurt for a base (or that we've heard of).

We were also a bit skeptical to try this out but were pleasantly surprised when we tried it and you should definitely give it a go too!

Ingredients

  • 250g cup mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp greek yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp miso paste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • Cooked pasta

Method

  1. Slice and pan fry mushrooms
  2. In the middle of the frying pan, add the miso paste and coat the mushrooms well
  3. Turn off the heat and add the cooked pasta, soy sauce and greek yoghurt and stir well
