Rose Tteokboki

Whenever we go to a restaurant and order tteokboki, you best believe that we are getting the rose one.
It's creamy, spicy and cheesy - what's not to love! We decided it was time that we figured out how to make this at home.
Ingredients
- 15-20 tteokboki
- 40-50g fish cakes (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 spring onion (sliced)
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 100g spam (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 carrot (cut into match sticks)
- 250ml thickened cream
- 50ml milk
- 40g grated cheese
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Method
- Pan fry spam pieces until they are browned
- Add spring onions and garlic to the pan and cook until fragrant
- Add the carrot/cabbage and fishcakes
- Add gochujang, soy sauce, cream and milk to the frying pan and stir well
- Once it is lightly simmering, add tteokboki
- When the tteokboki are nearly cooked, stir through the cheese and turn off the heat
