It’s spicy, salty and has the perfect tang to it. We chose to serve it with a side of Chinese cabbage and rice, but you could also serve it with other vegetables of your choice or noodles.
Ingredients
- 150g firm tofu
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- Sesame seeds (optional, to serve)
Method
- Cut tofu into 1 cm cubes
- Put the tofu cubes into a bowl and coat with the corn flour
- Fry the tofu until golden brown and crispy
- In another bowl, combine the gochujang, soy sauce and rice vinegar with 1-2 tbsp of water
- Once the tofu is ready, pour in the sauce and coat well
- Serve up immediately and optionally top with sesame seeds
