Are you hungry? Let us share with you how to make this delicious spicy tofu that’ll take 15 minutes to make and about 15 seconds to eat.

It’s spicy, salty and has the perfect tang to it. We chose to serve it with a side of Chinese cabbage and rice, but you could also serve it with other vegetables of your choice or noodles.

Ingredients

  • 150g firm tofu
  • 1 tbsp gochujang
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • Sesame seeds (optional, to serve)

Method

  1. Cut tofu into 1 cm cubes
  2. Put the tofu cubes into a bowl and coat with the corn flour
  3. Fry the tofu until golden brown and crispy
  4. In another bowl, combine the gochujang, soy sauce and rice vinegar with 1-2 tbsp of water
  5. Once the tofu is ready, pour in the sauce and coat well
  6. Serve up immediately and optionally top with sesame seeds
